Locked note content uses AES-256-GCM encryption, unlocked with a key independently derived from your password. Personal data backups use encrypted packaging with integrity verification. Other information in the platform is protected in layers based on account identity, organization relationships, content permissions and access control.

External app access is broken down into specific read and write permissions, and is constrained by both organization authorization scope and individual member consent. Authorization can be revoked, access leaves records, and management operations can be audited.
