Locked note content uses AES-256-GCM encryption, unlocked with a key independently derived from your password. Personal data backups use encrypted packaging with integrity verification. Other information in the platform is protected in layers based on account identity, organization relationships, content permissions and access control.
External apps receive only the access you approve
Read and write permissions are granted separately. Access is limited by both organization rules and individual consent. You can revoke it later, and supported access leaves an audit record.
